Rest For The Righteous

The Old Testament of the Bible is Jesus Chris Concealed, the New Testament is Jesus Christ Revealed. Everything in the Old Testament is a symbolic of Jesus Christ. 4 of the feasts have been revealed, 3 have not.

Isaiah Chapter 32:17-20
17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. 20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

There may be many people that you see around the world that are bad, but are filled with earthly wealth. For the devil will make the wealth of this world great. However, keep in mind that your wealth should be that of eternity with God. The eternity for the wicked will be nothing but bad in the afterworld.

The days on this world are limited, and short compared to eternity. When you see a tomb stone with say, “1880-1945”, keep in mind it doesn't matter what you did on the first number, or what you did on the second number, but what you did during that dash. What is quoted in verse 18 does not apply to the unrepentant soul. He promises Peace and Rest in God alone.

Everything outside of God is only temporary.

In the day of creation, the seventh day was of rest.

Mark 2:27
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Adam and Eve was not created for the Sabbath day. God made the time for rest for man. God did not make the seventh day because he was tired. A day is to 1000 years to eternity. 1000 years to 1 day. The millennial reign will be 1000 years. Keep in mind that there was roughly 4000 years since creation until Christ, the first 4 days. Then 2000 years after Christ, the 5th and 6th day. 6 days would be 6000 years. The 7th day was the day of rest. During the 1000 year reign, God's children will rest.
